Day One of London

LONDON - OMG
I just arrived...2 hours ago. I love British Airways - very nice. I think I am working hard towards flying FIRST CLASS!!!!! Arrived at Heathrow 1:33pm. My parents and brother came to pick me up. I was in tears when I saw my Daddy...hee. He lost a lot of weight. =( and darker because Brunei is very hot. My mom became blacken - skin wise...hee the first thing she said to me was "how come took so long??" typical mom's nagging.....hee My brother, Albert....gosh.....full of pimples and acne - asked him why, he said dunno. I said lack of SISTER's LOVE. LOL. Right now, waiting for my brother to get ready. We are going out to get MABUK.

London, England in 12 days
I am excited. I will be flying to London, England to see Prince William and Prince Harry! Will be flying out in 12 days to see my parents and brother. Most importantly, Prince William!!!!
Hour of Power
God answered my prayer and for sure His answer sent a powerful message...to have and to hold, to love and to cherish. It would be a great experience to see all my Kindergarden and Primary school mates and best friends in Brunei. Some of us have been apart for more than 21 years. Sometimes I wonder how come we have to be apart for so long?????? Is there a country that we can all live in with harmony, peace, and joy????? I wonder?????

Baby Kate
When I first look at Baby Kate, I could only stare. She slept so soundly....like there is no tomorrow.
While Mother Kate was sharing her birth experience with the rest of us, I could only stare at Baby Kate and possbily took over 20 shots of her sleeping posture.
Then....
I put her palm on my palm...hers so tiny yet so alive....what kind of life will Baby Kate experience?.....how will she look like in 30 years?????

The Best of Hong Kong and Oh My Gosh Japan 2008
One of the reasons I go to Japan for nth time is because of the food.......I love Japan. If I have the ability to travel each year, I will travel to Japan - no matter if it means 1 day stop over.... Hong Kong has a beauty of her own. I will be back again.

My Passion
I love to take photos of the sunsets, the airplanes, the sky, the ocean, people, animals, and the nature.
One of my best friends said this to me, "my best memory of you, Jenn, is engraved in my heart. I am so blessed with a photogenic memory of you."
Perhaps our best felt, best known, best remembered memories of each other fun, love, and happiness are actually in our minds, our hearts, and our souls.
Today, I took a photo of myself. Looked at it. I also looked back to my childhood, teenhood, and twenty-something adulthood photos. Boy, those were the days.....those were the crazy days.....I was very, very happy because I was so CAREFREE.
Now, I look at the photo of myself. Where is the active, hyperness, happy, passionate and fire-y burning eyes Jenn? Where is Jenn Yong?
As I grew older, I think I am beginning to lose sight of the ZEST for life. I am lost. I lost sight of who Jenn Yong is.......where is the Jenn that is hyperactive? Where is the Jenn Yong that wants to own a coffee shop....that dream? Where is the Jenn Yong that believes in life, that embraces life like there is no tomorrow? Where is the confident Jenn Yong that always know what she really wants!
One of my mentors, Peter Legge, wrote this to me, "Jenn, you have the ZEST for life that I admire. Go. Shoot for the stars!"
I guess it's about time I regain my passion in life and my self-confidence. It's about time, I come back to my old self - the one ALWAYS KNOW WHAT I WANT...the one that relentlessly pursue....relentlessly embrace....and relentlessly love L-I-F-E.

Life
As I am growing up, I feel there are many more unknown things in life that we cannot control. There are circumstances that we cannot control and we have no means to do anything about it. My boss once told me that if I cannot control what I worry about, leave it. I think that's very true in life. When we think too much, we will never be happy.
I pray for my best friend who has recently encounter a medical problem. I couldn't help but to think how important is a good body and a good health. I always appreciate my parents who has been taking good care of my health - by cooking very nutritious food and of course nagging me when I eat unhealthy snacks.

Market Beat
What to do when the market is going south?
I say, "Back to the BASICS!" Plain and simple: buy companies that are monopolies, with great profits and revenue, good management, consistent dividend payout, and extreme high cash flow. Buy High. Sell HIGHER!
I have recommended Research In Motion, Shaw Communications, Posco, and Gold in my previous posts. I would still reiterate these stocks....and also add Potash or Agrium or an index called Claymore Agriculture (COW).
If you own banks, I would say either hold or sell. Banks might be better off later in the year...or may be not....
If you have energy, no it's not going to be a bubble - hit me if I am wrong. But I am holding on to my Husky. If you want to buy more, I would recommend Husky or Nexen. I have been watching the index on natural gas called Claymore Gas (GAS). But no guts to buy coz it's a future contract on gas commodity. I would buy more oil instead at this level.
For now, I am watching very closely on Posco. Love the company coz again it's one of the world largest Steel company - I hesitate coz Posco produces two different types of steel - one for manufacturing of cars, one for building and construction purposes. As you know Toyota and Honda's sales are flat this year....rather, because of oil prices, car manufacturers are not making as much.....BUT, I am betting on building and constructions. Each time I go to Asia, each time I see different high rises being built....so owning this stock or similar stocks is a good idea. I think I will buy Posco when it hits below $110. It's getting closer.
Hey, you can't strike rich with betting on the stock market. Most likely you are seeing red now. But if you follow the process and follow a discipline - BASICS, you will have a comfortable pot of money.

Great momentum play. Current level at $125.84. Chart is flat at this time of the year as seasonal play is leaning towards Fall. But with their innovation products rolling out pretty soon, I won't mind owning some shares of this great company. Hey, it's a CANADIAN company!

Money World
Posco (PKX) is a steel producer in Korea. Supplies 25% to China, 25% to Japan. If there are earthquakes, there must be steel to rebuild. Looking at this company since beginning May. Trading range is arund $130.
Research in Motion (RIM). When I look around for a cell phone, everywhere is Blackberry craze. What's with this company? Double revenue each year. With 60,000 handset sold each day, this company rates high in innovation and research. Each quarter, there is a new handset rolls out.
Shaw Communications (SRJ.B) is a great company to own. Customer service is top notch. Great management. Monopoly in the Western Hemisphere for Cable TV, Cable Internet, and Digital Phone. You bet I have a Shaw Bundle for my home. You bet I am looking into buying SRJ.B. Current level $19.01. Looking to enter below $18.
